About us

Hello everyone! My name is Lexi Wilkerson
and I help my mom with The Fitness
Nutritionists. I am currently in college at Louisiana Tech University studying
Nutrition and Dietetics!
I have a passion for health, nutrition,
and fitness and plan to further pursue a
career in this field. Specifically, I love creating
new recipes and healthy alternatives to help
fuel your body better and hopefully make
you feel better overall. I know it is difficult
to pick and to decide how to make SAFE
changes to your diet and I hope we can help
you make this process easier and fun! 💜

Hi! I wanted to share a few things about myself so you can get to know me a little better. I live with my husband in our 1936 farmhouse that sits on 16 acres in the hills of deep East Texas. We love spending time with our 19 year old twins, Lexi and Colten, and taking care of our animals here on the farm. Randy is a Firefighter/Paramedic and a Captain at his fire department.
I have been a Registered and Licensed Dietitian for over 20 years. I have a passion for health and fitness and have pursued this area throughout my career. In doing so, I am also a Certified Health Coach and a Certified Personal Trainer. I also went on to become a Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Sports Conditioning Specialist, and Functional Training Specialist. I believe that what we fuel our bodies with, and how we choose to move them, can affect our quality of life.  My desire is to help busy women learn how to incorporate
good nutrition and fitness into their everyday  lives.

The Fitness nutritionists

EVERY REGISTERED DIETITIAN IS A NUTRITIONIST, BUT NOT EVERY NUTRITIONIST
IS A REGISTERED DIETITIAN.

What about the job titles such as "nutritionist" or "diet counselor"?
In many states these titles are NOT licensed or regulated and may be used by  anyone who decides to give themselves the title.
Just as accredited licensure of physicians is required to protect you from those unqualified to practice medicine, registration and licensure of nutrition professionals protects you from those unqualified to work as a nutrition professional.
THE RDN CREDENTIAL CAN ONLY BE USED BY PRACTITIONERS WHO ARE CURRENTLY AUTHORIZED BY THE COMMISSION ON DIETETIC REGISTRATION OF THE ACADEMY OF NUTRITION AND DIETETICS

What is an  American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Health Coach?
The ACE Health Coach Certification is the only health coach certification accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
A Health Coach can help you increase your awareness and capacity for change. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 1 in 2 people in the United States has at least one chronic health condition! A Health Coach can help you do your part to adopt and sustain healthy lifestyle behaviors.
